Eons ago the emerald-skinned war goddess Sekhmet came, the Lady of Slaughter radiant and terrible atop her lion steed.

With the blade of her jeweled khopesh Sekhmet carved death and disease across the quivering cities of Ra's enemies.

Those who knelt were rarely spared, but the Eye of Ra fell upon a chosen few—and it was these captives that Sekhmet corralled into servitude, to heap the foundation slabs of her numberless cenotaphs.

Ages passed, and the kingdoms Sekhmet brought to heel were swallowed by scarlet sand. The occult seals have broken on the tombs of her servants who were buried alive, freeing them at long last into pestilent darkness.

Plague Jewels of Sekhmet is a deadly gauntlet for 0-level Shadowdark RPG characters. Featuring an evocative theme and rules for head-to-head play, this gauntlet can be used as a one-shot tournament or a unique start to an ongoing campaign.
